I thank the man so much for introducing me to the work of James Ravilious. I really should not have been born in 1991, everyone who knows me thinks that I am sort of old fashioned. Maybe I should have been born in the 1930/40s? Where are the old characters these days, sitting in the pub smoking a pipe with a pint of best ale in their hands? Where ever you are I desire your photograph. When the simple things in life were the best, writing a letter to your loved one included straying some very expensive perfume on it. I wish I had seen these days, out in the rural world taking in the fresh air and attending to the animals on the farm, well documenting them. This would be my ideal line in photography, but all I can do now is try and create and re-live those memories I never had.
